Lavender Lounge Events Terms & Conditions for Participants.

By purchasing a ticket to or attending a Lavender Lounge Events event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Event Overview

This is a social event designed to provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for Sapphics, WLW, lesbian, bisexual, queer woman, including trans and non-binary individuals, to have fun and make friends.

2. Tickets & Entry

All attendees must hold a valid ticket for entry.
Entry may be refused without refund if the event guidelines are not respected.

3. Code of Conduct

Lavender Lounge Events is committed to creating a respectful and inclusive environment. By attending, you agree to:

Treat all participants, staff, and venue staff with respect and kindness.
Refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour (including but not limited to racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, or misogyny).

Anyone found violating this code of conduct may be asked to leave immediately without refund.

4. Personal responsibility and Safety

By attending an event, you acknowledge that:

participation is voluntary
you attend at your own risk
you are responsible for your own health, wellbeing, and personal belongings

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lavender Lounge Events accepts no liability for:

loss, theft, or damage to personal property
injury or loss arising from participation in activities

5. Photography & Media

Photography and video content may be captured during the event for marketing, community and promotional purposes and used on our social media, printed materials and website, though not limited to this.
By attending, you consent to being included in such content unless you explicitly inform the organisers otherwise.

6. Changes & Cancellation

Lavender Lounge reserves the right to make changes to the event details (including venue, schedule, or activities) if necessary.
In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be offered a refund.

7. Fitness & Physical Activity Disclaimer

Some Lavender Lounge Events events may involve physical activity, including but not limited to fitness classes, yoga, pilates, dance, hiking, sports, or other movement-based activities.

By participating in any physical activity organised by Lavender Lounge Events, you acknowledge and agree that:

You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
You are responsible for assessing your own physical fitness and ability to participate safely.

Lavender Lounge Events, event instructors, facilitators, and venues shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in physical activities, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

8.Refunds/cancellations

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

Missed events cannot be refunded or transferred
Booking fees are strictly non-refundable in all circumstances, including but not limited to cancellations, rescheduling, or failure to attend the event
We are unable to offer refunds for personal scheduling conflicts or non-attendance
Event tickets are non-refundable in all circumstances, except where the event is cancelled by us or where otherwise specified.

9.Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and process data.

10.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or attendance at events constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Agreement

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
